..Title Authorizing the paving of portions of City Avenue, Monument Road and Presidential Boulevard, under certain terms and conditions. ..Body THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The Procurement Commissioner, pursuant to the provision of Sections 11-502 and 11-503 of The Philadelphia Code, is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the paving of the widened portions of City Avenue and Monument Road and the full width of Presidential Boulevard from its intersection with Monument Road to a property line projected which separates the lands of Target Corporation from the lands immediately to the northeast thereof. SECTION 2. In lieu of the provisions of Section 1, the party in interest shall file an agreement and bond with corporate surety, satisfactory to the Law Department and in an amount determined by the Streets Department, to cover the cost of the work required to completely pave the widened portions of City Avenue and Monument Road and the full width of Presidential Boulevard at his sole cost and expense in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the City of Philadelphia. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall not become effective unless the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00), toward the cost thereof, is paid into the City Treasury within one hundred twenty (120) days after this Ordinance becomes law. ..End 1
